The DW-8200, the ever-popular second-generation Frogman model, caused a stir when it appeared in 1990-1993 with a highly durable asymmetrical design featuring a resin bezel and titanium case. More than just a reissue of that original design, the GW-8230B represents a new evolution: it's the first Frogman watch to use eco-friendly biomass plastics in the bezel and bracelet.

Add in Tough Solar technology powered by a solar panel designed specifically to replicate the shape of the DW-8200 dial and you have a diver-specific watch that helps reduce the environmental footprint. This limited edition takes the popular black and gold color scheme of the DW-8200B-9A and adds high-tech features to bring this '90s design into the 21st century. The titanium case back and LED backlighting feature a special 30th anniversary Frogman design.
